All about school libraries

I think the article is brilliant. I particularly was interested in reading about the decline of the school library in North American institutions. The quote about many schools "papering over" the role of the teacher-librarian by making them prep providers particularly resonates with me.

Reports like these, especially 'home-grown' in Ontario, are what fuel decisions like that by which we're all headed to the Ex next week for the Ministry Fair. The Ontario Library Investment Project speaks to the need for a 'well-stocked' school library. Though the one-stop shopping at the fair will be a busy day, the organization of it and the funds themselves are a great gift!

Reports like this are what can lead to decisions like that which have led to the Ontario Library Investment Project, which will lead us all to the book buying fair next week. It speaks to the need for a 'well-stocked' school library.
